I have a mid 2012 mac book pro with a 1TB ssd , 700 GB of free space. How can I upgrade to iOS Monterey?

MacBook Pro mid 2012 tops out at 10.15. Monterey is not an option.

Have a backup before upgrading.

All apps and all scanner drivers and all printer drivers must be 64-bit, or upgraded or replaced with 64-bit versions.

Use Go64 to find 32-bit apps.
