Connecting 2014 Macbook Pro to ethernet

Hi.

I'm trying to connect an old Macbook Pro (2014 I think) to the internet via a wired connection but can't find the right adapter. Could anyone help me please? I'm in the UK.

Thank you.

You have no extra cables for your computer? What you need is a Thunderbolt to ethernet cable. Is this because WIFI doesn't work? Anyway Amazon sells them as does the Apple Store.

You are correct. There is no ethernet port. You need the thunderbolt to ethernet adapter.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2012) - Technical Specifications

The OP did not specify a "Retina" display. So the specs I posted were correct for the question. The image posted was the retina display computer. So eventually we got to the correct answer. Shows the importance od providing the correct Mac version/year/etc.
