I filmed some footage on an iPhone in both 4K and slow motion HD 120 fps.
I want to make an edit using footage from both resolutions in one FCP project.
I'm using FCP 10.4.6
Is there a way to do this?
Will I need to import my 4K footage into a 1080 project?

The project resolution determines the output. Because you have video of two different resolutions you have to decide if you want to down the res the 4K or up res the HD. The latter might soften the video.
It doesn’t play slomo automatically. Recording120fps isn’t actually slomo it’s just a high frame rate. Select the clip in the project and in the retiming menu at the bottom of the Viewer use Automatic Speed.

I just tried opening a project in 1080, but the slow mo content doesn't play in slow mo.
Do I still need to adjust it in FCP? I was expecting it to play in slow automatically.
