Trying to restore chats on WhatsApp’s app from iCloud but I’m having trouble to getting last 7 months restore, any suggestions?

The only thing you can do after uninstalling the app is to restore from the recent WhatsApp iCloud backup in its entirity.

If the backup is old then you cannot restore the old part or you will lose the new part

did you delete whatsapp app and reinstall?

Warning: you will lose anything not on that backup
