the screen recording came out significantly shorter than it should’ve had. the video shoudve been around 15-20 minutes and came out to be 8 minutes long. they cut off the beginning, so only the last 8 minutes remained. i had a whooping 7gb free when i went to check after i noticed the problem. so if the storage wasnt the problem what was it?

for more context i was playing genshin impact (a videogame) and was screen recording a cutscene and some gameplay after, only the gameplay remained. the whole cutscene (audio + video) wasnt there for some reason. ive asked other players if they had the same problem and they didnt. by they i mean apple

What part of the recording is missing? Is it audio or video? What exactly were you recording on the screen? Certain content cannot be recorded. Next, you say "they cut off the beginning". Who are you referring to when you say they?
