No incoming emails.

I seek some advice from members. I updated OS 12.31 about a week ago. Ever since doing this Apple Mail has not worked as it should. I receive no incoming mail. I have my mail accounts on Gmail synced to my Apple Mail account and usually interact with mail via Apple Mail. I am reduced to using Gmail directly.

I have checked all passwords, restarted applications and shut down restated the Macbook a couple of times.

However, I can send emails from the Apple Mail interface.

Machine: Macbook Pro 8 GB Ram 256HD intel 2019. Mail can't sync with the Gmail server, the message I get is it keeps timing out.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your time and skill

Phil

Mail simply allows local access to your online mail client. I suggest you remove your local email accounts and recreate them if they are not working.
