Unwanted icon
On my Mac computer an icon has come onto the screen, picture of a microphone. When clicked on it either says wake up or sleep. Also talks occasionally. How do I get rid of this?

It is an accessibility feature— turn it off in System Preferences>Accessibility
Use the Accessibility Options panel on Mac - Apple Support
When Voice Control is enabled, you see an onscreen microphone representing the mic selected in Voice Control preferences.
