Hi there! I have some problems with transferring my photos from iphone to mac. There were about 3,5k photos on my phone (25GB) it started transferring but couldnt finish due to the lack of memory space on mac, about 95% was done. The problem is: it took 25 GB on my mac, but there no photos in it. What can i do? thank you in advance!

By default, the image capture app copies to a folder, not to the photos app. Open image capture app to see where it's currently set to copy to, and have a look in that folder for your images.

Try transferring in smaller batches. 😉
How did you transfer (using which app?)
The thing is about not batches, but the memory it took, there are not any photos in my Photos app, but it still takes memory from the disk.
