Itunes won't recognize iphone
The steps indicated do not follow what actually is on my device. I cannot get past step 3 and it did not help at all.

- “If you see a Trust this Computer alert…” — did you see this?
- “If you can’t unlock your device because you forgot your passcode…” — is this your situation?
If you answered “no” to both questions, you did get past step 3. If you answered “yes” to one or more, the article explains how to proceed.
