Loading screen

My iMac is stuck at the loading screen. When I hold command + R while after restart it takes me to the firmware not to recovery screen.

My iMac will not complete loading when starting I started my iMac as usual and there was a download required and I was asked to restart the computer, but on restarting it will not complete the loading and appears stuck at the end of the loading bar.
