Wallet app is for electronic versions of transactional cards such as credit cards, tickets, passes and the like. It is not a place to store photos. There are apps which can store images of cards of various sorts, and you can find these easily enough on the App store.

See the support document Add, use and share boarding passes, tickets and other passes in Apple Wallet

You can also store your photo in the Photos app or as a file to access on any of your devices via iCloud Drive (and the Files app on your phone).

BOOTTHEPOET ~ Custom shortcuts can offer several ways to display your photos. The example below is a simple shortcut that presents a pre-configured menu of photos to choose from:

Notes:

  • The photos are assumed to be already in the Photos app.
  • To set up the file name of a photo in Shortcuts, reveal its name by swiping down on the photo in the Photos app.
  • The photos could alternatively be stored in iCloud Drive and the shortcut modified to obtain them from there.
  • An icon to run the shortcut can be placed on the Home screen.
  • Or a shortcut(s) can be placed in a widget – which can be vertically scrolled.
