Keep getting error message after charging “too many passcode attempts reset Apple Watch and pair again”

after newest update watch doesn’t accept passcode. Have to reset watch and pair again. How to fix

I know the passcode. After charging it tells me to many attempts and I haven’t even put the code in yet.
