Possible Malware or Spyware checkup tool recommendation
Hi,
I read an article on here (link: Does the iPad need Norton antivirus if it… - Apple Community) that stated there's no need to install any virus software on an iPhone or Mac. I followed the recommendations which has been very helpful (such as installing 1Blocker). I've been having issues with my bank account getting hacked multiple times over the past year, and am trying to exhaust all options to make sure that it doesn't happen again. This also means I need to change a lot of passwords and account login names.
While I've done all the steps that the bank's cyber security team has asked, I wondered if it would be helpful to run a malware/spyware scan on my iPhone and iPad, just to eliminate any potential breaches that might have originated from my devices. This would be a one-time scan since having a subscription seems unnecessary.
Does anyone recommended a malware/spyware tool to use? Am I overthinking this too much (probably, lol). In the end, I feel confident that my devices or the iOS are not the cause of the hacks, but eliminating as many access points as I can. Most likely it's a data breach that somehow either involved my bank or my account was somehow linked to a breach, even though my passwords are all unique through Apple's passwords manager on my iOS.
Also should mention that I'm up-to-date on my iOS software (15.4.1).
Thank you!
