I cannot complete data transfer from iPhone to iPhone
it says that the connection was lost but both iPhones are connected to the internet
not the same internet though as my old one has a problem with the wifi that’s not working anymore so that one is using the network internet and the new phone is using internet from my bf’s hotspot
does anyone know if same internet connection needed for this process?

How do I do this?
I am trying to transfer everything just when I first start the new phone scanning that round blueish thing with the other iphone
Ok That is Quick Start. I have never known that fail except where the new phone has no SIM card.
Are the two phones right next to each other on the table?
