I have airpods first gen (the case is second gen) and every time I connect to a speaker my airpods automatically connect to my phone. It happens constantly and I can’t seem to figure out why. I also have no “choose when to connect” option when I click on more info for my airpods. How do I fix them from automatically connecting to my phone?
I don’t know if this applies to first generation AirPods.

I’ve looked at that already. I don’t have the “Connect to this iphone” option. There must not be a way to turn off the automatic connect for first gen.
