All I want to do is recycle these three Macs.

All I want to do is recycle my three very old Mac Book Pros and my old Mac Book Air. I have swept them clean and am ready to request my postage from Apple Support

Okay.... I was under the impression you had to drop the devices off at an Apple Store to recycle (as opposed to trading them in) them. But you might find more information here:
