How do you set up Face ID on iPad 8th gen on the latest iPadOS because it is not showing anything to do with face ID on settings.You should see a photo of what I am seeing.Pls help.

Your iPad does not support FaceID - this being hardware dependent, requiring a TrueDepth Camera.
iPad and iPhone models that support FaceID similarly lack the specific hardware required for TouchID - this electro-optical sensor being incorporated within either the physical Home or top (sleep/wake) button.

Base model iPads, like the 5th through 9th gen iPad models DO NOT have FaceID.
These iPad models DO NOT have the needed FaceID front camera hardware that is needed for the FaceID feature.
