"Hide My Email" forwarding address cannot be directed via iCloud Server Rules

I'm trying to separate emails sent to manually created "Hide My Email" addresses (i.e. ones ending in @icloud.com) from my Apple ID iCloud email address (also ending in @icloud.com).

Currently when an email is sent to any of my Hide My Email addresses they'll hit my Inbox. I created a separate alias to redirect those emails to and created a rule in the iCloud Server Rules to move all emails from this alias to a folder titled "Hidden", however whenever an email is sent to a Hide My Email address it will still hit my Inbox and not the folder titled Hidden.

Is this expected behaviour?

For whatever reason my trying to overcomplicate things didn't work and simply checking for the text "hide my email" will redirect those emails where I wanted them. Go figure.
