Problems with WhatsApp desktop disconnecting with macOS Monterey

Recently the WhatsApp app on my mac with Monterey 12.1 has been losing its connection to my iPhone, or failing to connect when starting up. This used to work (on Monterey) and does work for a short while if I log out and relink the desktop to my phone app.


Is anyone else having this problem?

Really suggest updating your version of Monterey to the most recent ( March 31, 2022 ) version 12.3.1


It brings any bug and security fixes possible connect to the present computer issue


Suggest doing  a Time Machine Backup before updating.
