What software can I use to make my MacBook Air compatible to use an Epson M2140 series by way of USB cable?

You may want to check whether one of the following Epson web pages contains a suitable driver:

https://www.epson.eu/en_EU/support/sc/epson-ecotank-m2140/s/s1672?selected-tab=&selected-os=macOS+12+%28Monterey%29&selected-lang=en

https://www.epson.com.sg/Ink-Tank-Printers/M-Series/Epson-M2140/s/SPT_C11CG27501?review-filter=Mac+OS+X+12.x

(drivers offered in different regions may or may not be the same)

Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)
