Your AppleID Password is common to all devices that are signed-in to iCloud or other Apple services - such as the App Store, FaceTime etc.


The device Passcode is set independently for each device. Whilst they are not synchronised in any way, you can choose to set the same Passcode on multiple devices if you choose to do so - or use different passcodes. The choice is entirely up to you.
