I ordered my m1 max 10th March and it’s still not come yet, you can prolly expect 2-3 weeks more delay from your expected delivery date. China factory lockdowns are the main reason for this. 2-3 weeks more relay is based on how mine was delayed. So if they delay mine to another month then your delivery will be delayed even more.

Yes across the board everyone is seeing delays— you are not special in this regard.

This is a global problem, Covid lock downs, China factory workers, supply chain, delays, back orders.... read the news.

I just saw a post, order in Dec and now the say estimate delivery is July...

So I would not get my hopes up too high for May 18th...

I ordered my Max laptop back in mid March, I finally got the confirmation today that it will be shipping out soon, expected delivery in a week. Wondering with one week delivery is it coming from China?

Apple has pre-arranged air-shipping by the pallet-load to the destination country, it is whisked through customs, and expedited delivery to your door. Once it leaves China, it generally takes less than a week to most destinations in the US.

It is not May 18 yet.

You will get a status update when it is shipped or delated.

If that time frame does not work for you, cancel your order.

You can pretty much be assured it is shipping from China.
