The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

The first (and easiest) method to check in case something isn't functioning properly is to reboot the Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If you need to (device isn't responding) you can try a force restart. Both options are available here:

If that doesn't work then the next step should be to remove the pair and re-pair your watch and restore the backup that you just made. The process should not cause loss of information. It removes all temp or damaged files and indexes to the system of files.
