MacBookAir shuts down when in sleep mode

MacBookAir - early 2014-OS Catalina - 10.15.7, dual Intel Core. The start of the message I get after reboot is: : Sleep transition timed out after 180 seconds while calling power state change callbacks. Suspected bundle: com.apple.iokit.IO80211Family. Thread 0x5ea6.

Failure code:: 0x00000200 00000014

-How do I fix this?

Try the following:


Click ▶︎ Software Update.



If that does not help, then try the following:

Try Safe Mode.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac.


If that does not help, then get expert service and support at the Genius Bar.


Click ▶︎ Start a Service Request. ⚛️

Click ▶︎ Check Repair Status.
