How do I set or change a thumbnail frame for a video clip in Photos?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.4

  • Open the video in Photos
  • Select Edit
  • Move in timeline to the desired frame
  • Select Image -> Make Poster Frame
  • Select Done
