Can’t update my apps

Hello, I had a pretty annoying problem when I try and update my bank app. I got a new phone recently and tried logging into to my bank account. It told me to update the app but when I tried it made me go through two step verification. After I correctly entered my password it send a code to my “trusted phone number.” Unfortunately the phone number is not one I am aware of at all but when I enter the option “can’t use this number” it still makes me type out the full number. I have already checked and changed my trusted phone number but whenever I try to update it displays the same unknown number that does not match the one in my Apple ID. I was wondering if there was any way to fix this.

See if anything here helps.  If necessary, you can use account recovery as explained in the link at bottom of the article.

Verification code - how to get one and sign in with two-factor authentication.   *

If you can get a code and sign in, you need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. Look in the Security section when signed in online. You may have to add the new number before you can remove the old number. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.

Apple ID - Manage

I have already gone into my Apple ID and changed the trusted number. I have waited 24 hours for it to sync. Regardless when I try and update the app it still sends the text message to a number that I do not know. When I say I don’t have access it still makes me enter it. It is very confusing because this number is no where to be found in my security or online and it says I have one trusted number which is the one I know but it still makes enter the other one
