Screen Time Content Restriction Allowed Websites Only Does’t Actually restrict sites.

On my child’s iPhone 8, websites other than the whitelisted sites are not blocked. Allowed Websites Only is selected. I have whitelisted certain sites. Other sites can still be visited. Is this feature supposed to do something?

Web Content Restrictions We just got an iPhone for my son. We use the screen time and website content restrictions but have discovered that whether you use the limited adult websites option or the allowed websites only option that when you put in a site that is never allowed you get a message that says you cannot browse the page because it is restricted and then right below that you get a (blue) clickable option that says allow website. If you click on the allow website the page closes and it appears that you are restricted but then if you go back into Safari it opens up that page and puts that previously restricted website into the allowed websites. Is there a fix for this? Otherwise the restrictions for web content really do not work.

screen time restrictions not blocking a specific website hi, i’ve been using screen time to block websites under the “limit adult websites” part and never allowing the websites i want blocked. it works and blocks all the websites so far until recently when i put the url in of a website and even though it’s blocked it still lets me access it no problem. how can i fix this? i have tried it on my fiancés phone and it still lets him access this site too while blocking the rest fine

Restrictions Is there a way to restrict content outside of screen time? I don’t want my child to access some websites even when screen time is not set. Why is this feature not available or so difficult to set?

Please use Screen Time Restrictions

Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content > Limit Adult Website [Tick]

Under Never allow

Add Websites.

This GIF is not current. There is no “Never Allow” option to tick. Otherwise that is exactly what I did. My chilc is able to visit sites other than what I have listed as “allowed”.
