New models of the 13-in MacBook Pro and 13-in MacBook Air featuring the new Apple-Silicon M2 system-on-a-chip were announced Monday, 6 June 2022.

These specific models will not be shown as available for another month yet, and lead times are unknowable.

Others, such as the 14-in and 16-in Apple-Silicon M1 models remain 'available', but supplies are severely constrained dues to recent COVID shutdowns in China where they are assembled. Typical delivery estimates for orders today are showing August 15, 2022.

The older model 13-in with M1, older display, and too-small-except-for-students 256GB SSD drive appears to be deliverable in a week or two. Adding enough storage stretches delivery out to two to four weeks or more.
