Is there still no physical card to use with Apple Pay? So many vendors offer the use of Apple Pay but before discounts can be applied. Once you go through that you have to enter card data for which we have none.

Apple Pay is a payment system. I assume you actually mean Apple Cash… In which case, the answer is “no”. There is no physical card associated with Apple Cash.
You can transfer money from Apple Cash to your bank account and use the card associated with your bank account if you need to use a physical card somewhere.
