If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone:
You might not be able to make or receive calls on your iPhone if you have certain settings turned on, if your software isn't up to date, or if there's a problem with your network.
If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone:
Find out what to do if you see "No Service" or "Searching" in the status bar. If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone, follow these steps, testing after each step:
Contact your carrier:
When you contact your carrier, make sure that:
Update your software:
Check your iPhone settings:
Check your network settings:
Contact Apple Support:
If you still can't make or receive calls, contact Apple Support, then follow the steps to complete your request.
Try calling someone and then adjust the volume with the physical buttons pressing both up and down to see if it finally adjusts. You might also want to try flipping the mute button one and off it that does not work. If you still cannot adjust the volume click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to start the service process.
You might want to combine the first two headings and then include the two paragraphs under one heading, it would be less confusing.
But what do any of the items have to do with low volume when on a call?
