What is the avg cost of repair for a 3rd gen Apple Watch?

Has anyone experienced this with their Gen 3 apple watch?

After pairing with new phone and performing the watch is update, watch never rebooted. Performed the Hard reset with Crown and side button press - Apple symbol and nothing else

placed it on charger - apple symbol - became extremely hot and never rebooted

this morning again tried the reboot

I believe I have the exclamation point symbol of deaths for an Apple Watch
