Is there a way to report spam phishing emails from my Mac mail?

with gmail, it's easy to report spam phishing emails, but using Mac mail.. there's no obvious way to do that. What's the secret?

Your answer is a help, but not THE answer.

Your answer refers to suspected phishing from APPLE or Mac.

My Mac mail app is set up to receive the Gmail but on a Macbook, the mail app alters the Gmail layout to omit the way phishing email addresses can be reported back to Gmail. ie. the 3 dots to the right of the phishing email address is absent. There is NO obvious, easy way to report the offending email back to Gmail.

Why can't I just simply put regular, real Gmail on a Macbook and have it work as Gmail intended?
