Calendar time zone
If I need to do something at 8am regardless of time zone can I set a calendar reminder eg I need to take pills at 8 and 5 everyday regardless of time zone

If you have manual Time zone set on your iPhone then the Calendar may not alert you timely.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
- Turn on Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date & Time. This automatically sets your date and time based on your time zone.
- Allow your device to use its current location to determine the correct time zone. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services and turn on Setting Time Zone.
Now, your reminder will alert you in the exact time regardless of where you are. If it is set for 8AM then then it will alert you exactly at 8AM unless you are in the flight or your location can't be determined by the device.
