Trackpad does not disable when using wireless mouse

I recently bought a Logitech G604 bluetooth mouse to use with my MacBook Pro. However when I connect it via bluetooth, it does not disable the trackpad.

  • I do have "ignore built-in trackpad" checked in Accessibility options.
  • I've tried connecting it using the wireless USB dongle instead of bluetooth, but get the same results.
  • It does disable when I use a wired USB mouse
  • Monterey 12.4
  • MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
