Hello and I'm sorry to say, but the Apple TV can only play movies and TV shows while online. If you have an internet or Ethernet connection, that'll be your only way to view them. You can download them from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and iTunes for Windows. But that's it; I'm sorry.
