uploading photos and music from previous devices

I am having trouble having my music and phots transfer from my previous devices that have the same Apple ID. Can you please assist me?

See Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or PC - Apple Support for your photos. Music, apart from purchases, isn't supposed to transfer from device to library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - Apple Community for a workaround.
