M1 mac mini - Apple studio display - Thunderbolt display

I have been using a thunderbolt display with my M! mac mini while waiting for the apple studio to get here - It arrived yesterday - how do i connect both monitors to my M1 Mac mini - i have had no luck connecting them both to the thunderbolt plugs on the back of the mac mini - the mac mini reads only one of those ports - so I am either watching my apple on the studio or the thunderbolt - what am I doing wrong?
