Delete blocked numbers on IphoneSE

I have tried the suggested Settings>Phone>Blocked Contacts >Edit to no avail. The only option I get is "unblock." I do not get the "delete" option. Help!

Yes! I realize I am not a tech wizard to understand all that stuff, so for the uninformed, it would help to be a little more explicit. By the way, I used the process which took me about an hour! I must have had 1000 or more blocked numbers from all the various scammers. Another issue for another time! Will start a new list but now I know what to do. Thank you.

Er, doesn't "unblock" effectively deletes the number from the blocked list?

The reason you don't get a separate "Delete" option is because they are functionally the same thing in this case. If you remove a number from the blocked list, it is no longer blocked.
