My Apple Watch stops tracking my heart rate during a workout

Why does my Apple Watch stop tracking my heart rate during a workout if I am still moving? I have cellular service with Verizon.

Check to see if you have "workout power saving mode" turn on,this turns off your heart monitor during workouts.

I checked and it was off. I also checked the background app refresh and heart rate is is turned on. I am not sure what else to do at this point. I appreciate your response @fireyjack
