Instagram changes camera lense.

Why does Instagram change which camera lense I use when taking a video on instagram. It changes the lense and quality of video is destroyed. Which settings do I change to get it to stop. Or work normally again. I have a 13 promax it shouldn’t look like I have a 80 dollar android. Please fix
