App won’t open
Babbel app won’t open. Cant download it either. I get a blank screen.

I suspect your iPhone 5s is just too old.
Current versions of the Babbel app require iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 or newer.
iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 are current.
iPhone 6 and earlier cannot be upgraded to recent versions of iOS.
iPhone 8 or newer will be required for the upcoming iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 later this year.
