On my IPhone 7 plus under about/parts and services/service, it says there is an issue with my battery. All I can you is I have no problem with charging my battery, or how long it takes, and how long the charge lasts. Then what could the service issue be other then the fact that my phone is an old model iPhone.

Check the Battery Health on your phone.
Home Screen > Settings > Battery > Battery Health
If the reading is less than 80%, the battery needs to be replaced
Take the iPhone to an Apple Store or Apple Servicer. Expect to pay $50 plus tax, etc.
The replacement battery should go another 3 years or so.
