why do i have no internet connection while connected to my wifi, which is working fine, for all my devices, including my wife's iphone

Try a different Network and compare your results...

cellular—

Settings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset Network Settings

If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad

If you can't connect to a cellular network or cellular data - Apple Support
