The screen

A fourth of my screen is covered in mainly black, blue, pink, green, and purple bars and lines. And when I touch it, the bars grow bigger. My MacBook works fine everything is running and performing the way it should except the screen left side of the screen. Is it possible to just fix the screen and the colors will go away or will I need to get a new laptop?
