how can I locate my ipad on my computer
My ipad is stuck with the icon and have connected it to my computer but can't find it

Presumably your computer is either a Windows PC (with iTunes installed) or a Mac (with Finder or iTunes - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS). Other computers, such as Chromebook and Linux cannot be used with iPad.
