Every time I try to use Apple Pay it asks me to press the side button and enter my passcode. I want to turn this feature off. In my Apple Pay settings the request passcode setting is off but still keeps asking me.

This hasn’t worked, followed the steps but then when I try and pay it asks me to turn assistive touch on when I click on that nothing happens I have to turn it off to allow Apple Pay to work again and then asks for my passcode
If you have FaceID or TouchID enabled, you should not be asked for a passcode when presenting your device for payment.
I have Face ID enabled, but it still asks me for passcode when paying via Apple Pay.
