an emoji is stuck on my screen after restarting. its still visible even after booting up in safe mode.
the only time you can't see it it if there is something dark on screen but its still there.

Run the Application and it should remove the malware / adware. Once done, restart computer and test.
Hi, the machine is 8 months old I only notice it the other day didn't think much of it as I though a restart would resolve it, which it hasn't.

what I have tried so far, rebooting in safe mode (its still visible)
its also not visible when screen grabbing
Ive seem to have resolved it myself by picking up a thumbnail that was sat on my desktop and placed it over it, i'll confirm once I restart my machine to see if it has completely resolved it.

If you mean your login emoji have you tried changing it in system preferences to the default picture and then restarting?
