My watch shows that it is paired but my iPhone does not

Has anyone ever had their watch act as if it is paired but when I go into my watch app on my phone it is not connected to my phone. When I try to connect from the app on the phone it does not.

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

Then;

Set up and pair Apple Watch
