iCloud cannot add family storage

I have added my daughter’s account to family sharing, but I am not able to add the iCloud+ family storage to her device. I only see the option to upgrade plan, not use family storage. When I go to iCloud+, I see the other four members of my family, but I do not see an option to add a family member.

If you are subscribed to iCloud+ at a family level and it is working for other people it should work for her too. Note the details below in this link:


Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support


"Switch from your iCloud+ plan to your family plan


When you share iCloud+, any family members using the free 5GB plan are added to your family plan automatically.


If a family member is already paying for their own iCloud+ plan, they

can choose to switch to your plan or keep their own and still remain

part of the family. When they switch to the shared family plan, they get

a refund for the remainder of their personal plan. They can't keep

their current plan and use the shared family plan at the same time."


If that doesn't get it working, try refreshing settings on your devices:


Try signing out of your account and back in again.


Try restarting your device.

If you still can't get it to work:


Click here --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
