Updating an iPhone 6 Over Cellular:

You can't update your iPhone model (6) model using Cellular. So, do so using WiFi, or Ethernet on a computer.

Back Up First:

IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update.

Unless you have an iPhone 12 or 13 and are connected to a 5G network, you will not be able to. You need to use a stable wi-fi network.
